In April of 2003, with all the discounts, I decided to sell the
old Bonnie, and I bought a Cavalier LS Sport (which is called
a Z24 still in Cananda). This picture is not of my car, but of
what it looked like stock.

First thing I did was modify the rear end. I do find it funny
that the 2004 came with a rear close to mine, but in gold.

Next thing I did was tint the windows with 20% all the way arround
to make the car completely black.

A very common question on the board, how do you make the GLOW
guages light up only at night. This is the key, use this brown
wire as your power source. I got my glow guages off of eBay.

Here is a picture of my system. Alpine 2003 CDA-7897 Head Unit
(with XM add on), Alpine MRC-F450 5 channel Amp, Infinity Kappa
462.5cfp 2 way 4x6 speaker (doors), Infinity Kappa 693.5i 3 way
6x9 speaker w/ computer Crossover (rear deck), Infinity Kappa
Perfect 10.1 10 inch sub (trunk), 1 far digital cap (mounted in
trunk), 4 guage wiring (+ and -) and the Alpine Mobile Hub for
my Nokia 6310i phone. The XM antenea is in the rear deck, and
it works fine. My cell phone antenea is inside the car also.

I mounted the amp on the back of the bigger back seat. I can
fold the seat down and adjust the amp.

I mounted the cap by placing a piece of wood behind the carpet
and drilling into it. Notice the 4 guage wiring!

I mounted the fues on the air box, but I will move it when I
install my AEM CAI.

To mount the 4 guage wiring to the battery, I went to Pepboys
and purchased a new batter connector. It has a 3/4 bolt to the
battery, and 9/16 bolt into it. I have one on body + and -. Important
thing everyone misses, if you have 4 guage leaving the battery,
you have to upgrade the wiring returning to the battery to the
same guage!!!

Next thing I did was remove the rear lights that sold on eBay
nicely.

Here a picture of the 3 peice RK Sport C/F rear installed.

And then with my TYC lights.

I wanted to keep the round tail lights. After the eBay sell,
I actully broke even, and now I just have a 2002 rear, but I still
have the 2003 headlights and grill.

Here is a picture of the AEM CAI installed. I had to put two
clamps in the throttle body due to a bad design from AEM. I also
was not happy with the sponge for the fuel filter.

Here is the picture of how low the AEM sits in the wheel well.

Does any one know what those three boxes are in my lower front
grill? Laser Shifters, don't leave home with out them!

Here is a picture of my car at night, with no flash. You can
see the traditional Alpine look, even on the expanded face. The
Palm M515 is mounted for GPS, and the Escort Passport SRX display
is mounted nicely displays VOLTS when no rader or laser contacts
are detected.

When I put the flash on, you can see how the GPS looks. It is
mounted at perfect angle to the driver. You can also see how small
and concealed the Escort Passport SRX display is. The mute button
is mounted below the window controls in the center dash.

Ans here is a picture of my car down at my grandma's house in
Cocoa Beach. Love the Green grass in Central Florida in Janurary.
It was a balming 78 degrees, wow.
Until the next update.
